Wagner Farm Arboretum Brite Nites Drive-Thru - Warren, NJ

The Wagner Farm Arboretum Brite Nites Drive-Thru has returned for the 9th year! The display of hand-carved lighted pumpkins is a great scene along with LED bulbs and special effects. This year, there will be a tribute at the drive-thru to our first responders and essential workers in light of the pandemic.

D&R Greenway Land Trust Masquerade Parade 2020 on Halloween Day - Hopewell, NJ

Instead of attending your average parade, this is an opportunity to decorate your car and have a contactless drive-through where "floats" are stationary. Everyone will receive a goodie bag and a children’s book.  The bags will be safely assembled, including distance, masks, and gloves — natural alternatives to traditional trick-or-treating.

Free Halloween Drive-Thru at Stew’s - Paramus, NJ

Cars will follow a path through family-friendly Halloween-themed scenes featuring cutout characters, located in the parking lot just steps from Stew’s pumpkin patch. Customers can also tune their car’s radio to WSTU-FM where Clover the Cow’s spooky Halloween soundtrack will delight kids of all ages. This free, socially distanced event is open to the community starting Saturday, October 3 through Saturday, October 31, 2020.

TIP: Kids under age 12 who wear their Halloween costume to Stew Leonard’s from Monday, October 26 – Saturday, October 31, 2020, will receive a free ice cream cone at the Ice Cream Parlor. If they say “Trick or Treat” at the checkout lane, they’ll receive a free small treat bag!

Halloween Day Parade - Bayonne, NJ

Because the city has canceled its annual Halloween parade, there will be a Halloween costume contest for local children ages 2-14 at 16th Street Park at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

Halloween Giveaway - North Bergen, NJ

Due to the cancellation of the annual Halloween parade, there will be a “Halloween Giveaway” for children listed to take place from 1 to 3 p.m on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the recreation center parking lot, 6300 Meadowland Ave.

“AddamsFest” Westfield all throughout October

The home of Charles Addams, also known as Westfield, NJ returns with the annual "AddamsFest". Several activities are planned to take place in a safe environment "while maintaining the initial spirit of the celebration” the town stated.

“Haunting” at the Kolo Klub on October 31st
